Board Facilitation Leader
Jennifer is a nonprofit management and strategy consultant with over 20 years of experience in the government and nonprofit sectors. She holds a BS in Psychology from Michigan State University and an MA in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. She's an experienced special education teacher, evaluator, researcher, strategic planner, program developer, financial analyst, grant developer, and, most recently, the Executive Director of Social and Emotional Learning for the Chicago Public Schools. Since 2013, Jennifer has served nonprofits in the education, social service and peer support sectors. Her 15 seconds of fame arrived on July 28, 2016 when she spoke at the Democratic National Convention on the night Hillary Clinton was nominated as the Democratic Candidate for President.
Sharlene is a financial management professional with almost 40 years of experience in Financial Services. During her career she has worked with retail and institutional clients as well as coached and developed future leaders and financial professionals for Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. Sharlene has a BA from William Woods University and a MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Marty is an attorney and partner at Burt, Blee, Dixon, Sutton, & Bloom in Ft. Wayne. She leads the defense of employers in labor and employment law matters in both state and federal courts. Marty earned her BA in East Asian Studies from Vassar and her JD from Case Western Reserve. Marty ran for Indiana State Representative in District 52 in 2018
Jeanette is a Social Justice Activist. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a MS in Social Work after earning a BA in Music from the American Conservatory of Music. She led many community organizations including Save the Dunes, League of Women Voters and Concerned Citizens for Syrian Refugees and worked tirelessly on many Democratic candidate campaigns.
Libby is a life-long Hoosier from Argos. She studied political science and strategic communications at Butler University, before entering Notre Dame Law School in 2018. She served as a policy analyst intern for the Indiana House of Representatives Democratic Caucus, as a summer associate at Ice Miller and a legal extern at the City of South Bend. I am passionate about expanding the voice of women in the Indiana state house. As a board member, I bring my experience as a young Democratic voter, excited to be involved in state politics.
Deborah Chubb, J.D.
A women's rights advocate as a practicing attorney and non-profit leader for 27 years. A political activist and organizer for 40 years. Born and raised in Indiana and dedicated to making it a better state for women, children, educators, and the natural environment.
A licensed advocate for sexual assualt victims, and champion for differently-abled individuals and education. Out-of-the-box strategist who combines expert use of data analysis and social media with old school campaign techniques.
